At Sell Your RV Fast & Easy, we make helping RV owners price their investments appropriately our top priority.
We understand, though it seemed like a straight-forward process to sell your diesel pusher, travel trailer, toy hauler, motor coach or motor home online, there are many steps people hadn't considered before starting.
Unforunately, it doesn't matter if you have obtained a clear title in your own name if the investment isn't priced properly. Without appropriate pricing and positioning of your investment, none of the other steps in the process take place, and RV "book values" are vague and wide-ranging by unit.
Our team has years of experience evaluating and selling recreational vehicles. We are willing to share our expertise so you find a motivated buyer quickly!
Selling your investment on the internet reaches the widest possible audience, clearly increasing your chances of finding an eager and full-price or high market value buyer for your RV.
Accurately pricing your investment involves comparisons to similar units and many specific questions that determine how much a buyer will be willing to pay, as well as, which aspects they are usually willing to overlook as pertaining to condition, upgrades, and features of your vehicle are concerned.
So, what are the correct questions to ask about the vehicle, maintenance records, the aspects that should be showcased for an online posting, and what is considered "normal wear and tear"?
Don't get left with an empty tank and uncharged generator in your RV sale! Our team of experts know what questions to ask and how to properly position the answers for an online listing. Get a free expert RV valuation today!

According to J.D. Power (owner of NADA, whose guidelines provide the closest thing to "RV book values" because there is no "RV Blue Book"), the difference between "Average Retail" and "Suggested List" is that "Suggested List" is meant to represent brand-new vehicles, while "Average Retail" is vaguely described as:
"An average retail vehicle should be clean and without glaring defects. Tires and glass should be in good condition. The paint should match and have a good finish. The interior should have wear in relation to the age of the vehicle. Carpet and seat upholstery should be clean, and all power options should work. The mileage should be within the acceptable range for the model year."
As of August 31, 2024, one of the most searched motor homes on their website was the 2017 Thor Motor Coach Axis Series M-24.1 Ford. When this model is searched for the center of the country (zip code 68105), the "Suggested List" for a base model is $106,043 while "Average Retail" is $45,550. That's a difference of over $60k in value without knowing a single thing about your specific RV.
Kelley Blue Book describes their process for valuing vehicles as a "proprietary editorial process" that they, themselves, describe as based primarily upon wholesale auction sales and independent dealer sales - not for sale by owner results and expertise. They also do not offer an "RV blue book".
These are both excellent companies that meet a wide range of needs, but what about the average person just trying not to get gouged while selling their own recreational vehicle?
Average people can either take their best guess on how to appropriately price their vehicle and risk losing months, or even years, while the fastest depreciating asset they can own loses value, or they can speak with a for sale by owner expert. At the end of the day, your RV's market value is what someone is willing to pay for it.
Our team has over 30 years of experience in the for sale by owner space, and we are here to help RV sellers make sense of the extraneous or non-relevant data they may be sorting through while trying to find an "RV blue book value".
